Roche Bobois Mah Jong - Kenzo louge composition
De Mah Jong sofa, ontworpen door Hans Hopfer in 1971, is een iconisch model van de Roche Bobois collecties en biedt totale vrijheid in vorm en functie.
Deze opstelling bestaat uit 4 eenvoudige zit/lig elementen, een hoekrugleuning en 2 bijkussens, bekleed met stoffen van Kenzo Takada.
Voor het 'aankleden' van de Mah Jong modulaire sofa liet Takada zich inspireren door oude kimono's en herinterpreteerde hij hun patronen en kleuren om fijne en geraffineerde harmonieën te creëren.
Elk kussen is volledig met de hand gemaakt en genaaid in een speciaal atelier. Alle onderdelen zijn in zeer goede staat, afkomstig van de eerste eigenaar en zelden gebruikt.
Alle stukken zijn volledig en gemarkeerd. Er ontbreken geen knopen.

Designed by Hans Hopfer in 1971, the Mah Jong sofa is an iconic model of the Roche Bobois collections, and offers total freedom of form and function.
This setup is made with 4 simple elements, one corner backrest, and 2 side pillows, dressed in Kenzo Takada fabrics.
To ‘dress' the Mah Jong modular sofa, Takada took inspiration from ancient kimonos, re-interpreting their patterns and colors to create fine and sophisticated harmonies.
Each cushion is entirely made and sewn by hand in a dedicated workshop. All parts are in very good condition, from it's first owner and rarely used.
All pieces are complete and marked. No missing buttons.
