MR10 chairs - L. Mies van der Rohe for Fasem

Vier vintage MR10 Cantilever Chair, ontworpen door Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, geproduceerd door Fasem (Italië).

Oorspronkelijk ontworpen in 1927 en voor het eerst geproduceerd door Duitse fabrikanten zoals Berliner Metallgewerbe Joseph Müller, en later door Thonet, werden de productierechten en licenties in de loop der jaren overgenomen door andere fabrikanten, waaronder het Italiaanse bedrijf Fasem in het begin van de jaren tachtig.

Het iconische vrijdragende stalen frame zorgt voor een visuele lichtheid en een uitzonderlijk zitcomfort. Deze stoelen zijn perfect geschikt voor zowel kantoorruimte als elegante eetkamerstoelen.

Alle vier de stoelen vertonen een mooie patina op het dikke zadel-anilineleder in een roodbruine kleur, met zichtbare gebruikssporen op de rugleuningen. Twee stoelen vertoonen meer uitgesproken gebruikssporen en krassen op de lederen rugleuning. Zie foto's.

Alle zittingen, frames en het chroom verkeren in een zeer goede en solide staat.

Four vintage MR10 Cantilever Chair designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, produced by Fasem Italy.

Originally designed in 1927 and first produced by German manufacturers such as Berliner Metallgewerbe Joseph Müller, and later by Thonet, the production rights and licences were subsequently acquired by other manufacturers over the years, including the Italian company Fasem in the early eighties.

The iconic cantilevered steel frame provides visual lightness and remarkable comfort. These chairs are perfectly suited for both office use and as refined dining chairs.

All four chairs display a beautiful patina on the thick saddle aniline leather in a red-brown colour, along with visible signs of use on the backrests. Two chairs show more pronounced user marks and scratches on the leather backrest.

All seats, frames and chrome are in very good, robust condition.
