Butterfly chairs by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen

Danish designer Arne Jacobsen designed the butterfly chair in 1953. This very popular chair is now available in several variations and the collection is called 'Series 7' by design manufacturer Fritz Hansen.
The ergonomic design offers great seating comfort, and the simple design looks very elegant.
The chairs are lightweight, stackable and made of curved plywood and finished in natural birch veneer with a chrome frame.
Each chair features the manufacturer's Fritz Hansen label, a plastic cap at the bottom of the seat, protective rubbers on the legs and minimal signs of use ( 2 chairs are slightly more heavily used).
